Update: March 13 8:30 AM

Good Morning Parents, Guardians, Staff and Community,

This message is to update everyone on the COVID-19 situation. At this time our schools remain open until we are given notice to suspend school from either the State, Center for Disease Control, and/or The Stanislaus County Office of Education. We are expecting Governor Newsom to make a statement later this morning and we will update you with any relevant information at that time. The County Superintendent of Schools has called a meeting at noon today with all superintendents in the county as well as health officials to discuss next steps as a county. I will continue to update everyone as much as possible.

Should we have to suspend school, we have prepared curriculum packets for all students and these will be provided to take home.

At this point beginning Monday, March 16, we have cancelled all school sports events, field trips and assemblies through the end of March, or until further notice.

Please keep in mind that this is an unprecedented situation and we are doing all possible to assure the safety of students, staff and community. I appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work through this.

Sincerely,
Dr. Helio Brasil
Superintendent
