Keyes Head Start and Keyes Early Head Start Programs

Head Start is a free federally funded program that provides comprehensive services to qualifying families of children birth to 5 years old. We have morning and afternoon preschool classes, an Early Head Start infant/toddler class, in addition to a Home Based program for infants/toddlers and pregnant moms. To schedule an appointment to complete an application please call (209) 656-2388. You will need to bring in your child’s Birth Certificate, Immunization Record and proof of income for the past 12 months in order to apply. Children with special needs are encouraged to apply.

Early Head Start’s mission is to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women, enhance the development of very young children, and promote healthy family functioning.
